Because of this, lots of companies look to Apple for direction and try to copy their successful strategies. They wait for Apple to introduce something new, then try to jump on the bandwagon and sell it to consumers. The downside is that by following Apple, these companies can't create their own unique innovations and become completely reliant on Apple's ideas.
